Okay. Let me explain. I was scrapbooking today and have had several people comment on how down I seem. Sorry about that. I just don't have a whole lot of anything going on that isn't sad. So my friend Gina suggested that I throw stuff on here that is totally out there. This was the first thing I could think of. We went to see Iron Man a few days ago and what an awesome movie. I thought this was a great picture of a machine. I can post "hot machines" and not offend my husband. He can't get mad cuz I think a machine looks good.

Hi, yeah, so last Sunday was your first time teaching? Yeah, that was a tough lesson to start with. I pulled it off Ok. I did it in a pop question form with taking the facts about the priesthood and asking questions to see what they knew. Of course, they pretty much knew it, but it was kinda fun. I gave some priesthood blessing examples from my life and how they worked for me and then had them share out their blessings. It was good. How did your mom do with the anniversary?? that would be hard! Our anniversary is May 20th. I miss you and wish you were closer. It would be fun to visit with you. We love you. and your sadness will hopefully subside with time. Have a blessing! Love you!!!!

Becky, don't be so hard on yourself for "being so sad on your blog." Give yourself time. This is your blog and call it a blog, a journal, a diary whatever you want, but it is YOURS and I think it can serve the same purpose as a journal in that in writing these feelings it will help us all to work through some of the hard times in our lives and you certainly have every right to feel overwhelmed at this time in your life. I came across another person's blog the other day that I read and found really inspiring. This woman had lost a 4-year old daughter from an accident. As I read it I thought of you as you search for your new "normal." I can't imagine what it is like for you, just know that myself and others who love you continue to include you and your family in our prayers. Here's just a few sentences from the blog that I thought you might appreciate:

"Time has been a healer, of sorts, in that it has slowly allowed us to adjust to a new normal. It has helped fade the past and blurred the shock between then and now. It happens whether we want it to or not and when I think back to those early days last year, where I begged someone, anyone, to tell me I would breathe again...I guess time has been a bittersweet gift."

I agree with that comment. You post what you need to post. Its YOUR blog, and it can help you how you want it to. If you need to be sad, be sad. I can't pretend to know enough to give you any advice. I have never been in this situation. I can empathize, and every time I try putting myself in your shoes, the emotions nearly cripple me. Its a big deal. Take your time if you need to. Have fun and be silly if you need to. You have support all around you when you want it, :)
